At the general meeting of the Hungarian Nuclear Society on 29 November 2018, the Fermi Young Researchers Award was awarded to Róbert Janovics (PhD), research fellow of the Isotope Climatology and Environmental Research Centre (ICER).

The award was established in 2002 by the Embassy of the Republic of Italy – Budapest with the aim of acknowledging and encouraging research activities of young researchers.

After he had received the award, Róbert gave a 15-minute-long presentation about his work.
